I'm a DOCTOR now! 😱 😁 I am very pleased to announce I passed my defense/viva last month! I have been a bit MIA from the socials whilst taking a well deserved break but I am now ready to get back to work! Corrections first, of course! (Pic of me receiving the news after the deliberation 😆 )

I had a lovely time presenting at the Bristol CMS PGR Conference this week @bristolcmspgr.bsky.social ! It was wonderful to talk about supernatural mothers once again ( this time, stepmothers!) and I even got to use a historical printing press! Thank you Bristol CMS!

Back at the PGR Film Club🎬🙌🏻 My friend asked me how am I not scared of horror movies and honestly, I used to be (VERY) scared but now I'm too busy looking for themes and symbols and where the trauma comes from. I blame my Literature degree.

Very nice and interesting talks at the College of Arts and Law Research Festival at @unibirmingham.bsky.social CAL continues to be a hub of so many important discussions and ideas on research in our fields. (I was also very happy about getting free chocolate during lunchtime 😅)
