Something about Sakurasou

Something I came to realize as I was collecting for Sakurasou is that as cool as figures and merch is, collecting the physical media like books or Blu-Rays is just cooler to me and feels more "substantial" if that makes sense.

Once again while searching the archives, I discovered that there is also an alternate cover for volumes 3 and 6. Sakurasou truly is the gift that keeps on giving I suppose. Also since for some reason I forgot, all of these alt covers have but uploaded to the fan page's gallery.

If I ever get the Japanese copies of the Rascal Does Not Dream novels, I'll probably get the ones with the limited edition covers since they look nice and the English versions already have the default covers.

People who refer to the Rascal Does Not Dream series as just "Bunny Girl Senpai" or "BGS" make me irrationally upset. That's literally not what it's called. It's only the title of the first volume and the first anime. It's like calling Star Wars the "A New Hope" series. Stop doing that 😭

Today has honestly felt like a filler day. I translated a bit, read a bit, and slept a bit.

I'm sure that could be a contributing factor. A lot of fangans kinda spawned in during or after the boom of popularity in 2020 though, so I think a lot of it comes from "newer" fans just getting really obsessed with the killing game concept and wanting more. pengu.straw.page

No Danganronpa 3's plot is really good and well put together actually, most issues I've seen people have with its plot usually come from a poor understanding of it. If you disagree, good for you, I don't really care :3 pengu.straw.page

Also to illustrate how big the English versions are to the Japanese ones, here's a side by side comparison (I don't own a Japanese copy of any of the Rascal Does Not Dream books but my Sakurasou copy is the same size as one)

The universe may hate me but I will inevitably win. The first 11 Rascal Does Not Dream books are in my possession!! I'll have to get the last four separately, but I'm very happy I own and can now read these.
