Casted the larger mandible bits. Even with a pressure pot the tips has a bubble. Lesson learned, need to add a vent in such molds. Easy with with an epoxy clay though. #monsterclay #creaturedesign #horror

Tried to get Mojo to help me convert a paint pot into a pressure pot for resin casting. He was no help, just wanted to watch TV. But I got it done. #resincasting

Sometimes I feel the universe is against me. Ordered some new molding and casting materials. Amazon put everything in bags instead of boxes. So now I have a bag full of goop from busted bottles. The bottles that survived being shipped in a bag are the wrong ones.

Smooth On Rebound and Moldstar silicone still good after 16 years. Smooth cast... TBD. The first bottle, onyx, the hardener, was hardened. The next set, Smooth Cast white, a dead ant plopped out. How did this ant get in the bottle? How long was it in there? Who knows???? #smoothon #moldmaking
