I find it so weird that they sent out the rest of the season to reviewers and fan accounts who pay for blue checkmarks on Twitter, but sure, I guess!

And when I say Morph carried that episode, I mean it.

The sentiment of “This episode could've been an email” regarding episode 5 is both funny and accurate.

Also, Logan not stopping till Morph morphed into Jean was crazy. Free Morph from that man. They deserve so much better.

I don't know how a Danger mini is going to fit into the season, but I am excited for her along with Polaris and Bishop, so at least next week won't be a total bust for me.

If the season were longer episode wise and the episodes were longer runtime wise, maybe I wouldn’t be as bothered, but it feels like we’re running out of time to cover things and deal with the Apocalypse problem.

Anyway, I don't have anything else to say about it. It killed the momentum which is what I was afraid it would do. Again, I appreciate the development for Morph, but that episode just felt very out of place in the season so far. There are bigger things to worry about.

I do find JP’s Morph enjoyable and I appreciate the development for them, but otherwise, that episode did nothing for the overall plot of the season. These final four episodes have a lot of heavy lifting to do and at this point, I kind of don't have hope. This is so frustrating.

We did not need to waste an episode of an already short season on that, but okay.

That being said, I’m not sure I’ll have much to say about episode 5 anyway, but we’ll see what happens!

I am so close to paying off my credit card that I had to put my new laptop on in March. If I make a big payment in August and then in September, I’ll have it paid off. And then I’ll only have one credit card to worry about. 🥹

I haven't been able to bring myself to rewatch episode 4 and I'm not even excited about this week’s episode, episodes 6-9 are going to have to do a lot of heavy lifting for this season for me I fear.

I still can’t get over how overhyped the mid-credits scene was in episode 4. Just a whole lot of nothing. Like…that could’ve just been part of episode 5 if they wanted to show that group so badly.

Redemption through death has always been one of my least favorite story tropes. I find it cheap and lazy. Nothing is satisfying about watching a character who has struggled, suffered, and done bad things die to redeem themselves. It’s quite bleak, but hey, what do I know?

I had a Gambit keychain on my bag that holds hands with Rogue and he must’ve fallen off at some point because he’s not there anymore. Damn it. 😭

I can’t believe I started my day at 4 AM by watching one of my favorite characters get eviscerated and then proceeded to have one of the most insane days at work. I don't think we’ve had a day that busy since around the holidays. Mind you, it’s July. 😭

Last thing I’ll say about this (for now), I understand that a person losing someone they love and care for is a powerful force for change, but I just think there are other ways to give characters character development. Death feels too easy. It’s always been a pet peeve of mine.

I get that showing Magneto’s death through Charles’ eye is supposed to really drive home how it’s going to change Charles as a person and whatnot, but I could've come to that conclusion without that. I would've rather just seen his death the way we saw Gambit’s death.

Killing Magneto for Charles’ character development midway through the season is the same as Gambit being killed for Rogue’s character development at the midway point of last season. And honestly? I’m tired of a character’s death being used to move along another character’s story.

I just don’t think I should be able to put together that a character is going to die a month in advance from promotional material. I shouldn’t be able to go “Oh, this is how the episode is going to go.” beat by beat, and be right about it. Just by teasers and trailers.

“You can't miss the mid-credits scene” I feel like I could've missed it and been fine actually.

Mood for the foreseeable future.

Making me experience that to then make me watch an episode next week I have no interest in. Okay. Sure. 😭

I can’t even be upset over the episode when I’m genuinely this pissed off because of it.

Experienced a dog having a seizure at work today which has never happened in my 3 years of working there and I absolutely hated it. The dog is luckily okay and she bounced back from it very quickly, but I immediately called her owner and said we were sending her home. 0/10 would recommend.

Alright, so I’m assuming that all of these moments from the trailers are from episode 4 based on where we left off with episode 3 and the synopses for episodes 5 onward.

And then he’s going to be forced to hurt the people he died to save. Like…someone save him. I’m begging.

The thought of Gambit going out on his own terms then being resurrected by Apocalypse of all people makes me sick. Having a painful death and then being subjected to more pain by someone who doesn’t care how much they’re hurting you.

She’s so beautiful. It’s absurd.

I still can't get over them making him attractive.

Obviously, I have no idea what they're doing or what's going to happen, but they quite literally showed us Apocalypse with his casket in episode 2, I just think it would be strange to not have his reveal till episode 8.

I have one fear, and it’s Gambit’s Death arc being crammed into and sped run in the final two episodes of this season.

I need her to get into my pocket immediately.
