This is so exciting! Burns are so painful and the risk of infection is so great. Severe scarring results even if the life is saved. This would save fire victims from the additional pain of not having to remove skin from legs, etc., to replace burned tissue, plus there would be less scarring.

I have had high hopes for regeneration research for decades. I found the first entry here & wanted to confirm it. All the other info reported it was still being researched using mice while FDA approval is pending, so I'm not sure if it has been tested on humans. But it's so promising and exciting!
