The Welcome Collection had this 1861 patent for 'Cholera Bands' as part of #Cholera Day 🤔 A variety of different devices worn round the abdomen to 'prevent and treat' cholera These were still being issued to British #Army soldiers in India and Macidonia in #WW1 🪖 #heritage #science #health
