The season comes to an end for the Portland Winterhawks as the Spokane Chiefs win Game 4, 6-4, and thus win the series in four games. I’m not being hyperbolic when I say that NOBODY expected them to get this far. A true testament to Kyle Gustafson and his group of players.

Diego Buttazzoni was given a major cross-checking penalty and a game misconduct for this after-the-whistle hit from behind on Shea Van Olm. The last thing the Winterhawks needed— now they’ll be trying to force a Game 5 without one of their impact players on this playoff run.
