It's so hot out. I'm stuck trying to find a place to sit in AC while some high schoolers run and throw stuff. This town is so dead, I'm in a grocery store.

Writing is performance. We tend not to think of it like that but good writing is a performance stamped into a page, one letter at a time. Even technical writing is a performance, though usually in an instructional way.
