I tried the Whittakers brandy snap chocolate. It didn't taste of brandy snaps, but it was very reminiscent of those little bits of slightly hard bits of chocolate fudge left in the bowl after beating. I liked it.

Omg!!! A pre-xmas miracle. I passed the space paper. I was so sure I'd flunked, but was hanging onto the hope of a C. I got a B?! Wtf.

I often sit on the ground, but am now an age where people are slightly concerned about that. But I like it and I'm also old enough that if I stop I won't be able to anymore. Weird the choices you have to make as you age.

Day 3 of field trips! I haven't died* *but I have napped on the train, which is unusual for me

Last night both Michael and I were home late. I'd had a long 1st field day and was knackered. Rey was recovering at home after a busy few days of activity, but they used valuable bandwidth to cook for us all anyway. From scratch. Amazing. I'm still feeling grateful a day later.

Blimey. Yip. I garden in a create habitats kind of way. I read murder, romance, science fiction, fantasy and natural history. I bake and make weird stuff out of clay. I board game and role play. Play Pokémon go. Walk. Op shop. I write when the mood strikes, draw to amuse kids I love tv and movies

I'd like to go on a garden tour of gardens that are just well loved but not magazine worthy. You know, go admire someone's vege patch or someone's favourite marigolds. Hear about how someone built their garden with cuttings. See their best shade tree. I don't care if there are weeds.

First exam result back yesterday. So now I've passed 2 papers (cell bio and ecology). Two more results to come. Can I scrape enough points to pass space science? Stay tuned...

I really don't know! At 16 I was deeply committed to old stuff and scorned new music 🤣 I so wanted to be edgy and absolutely wasn't.

I know I'll love the field trip days this week but also new groups of people (who are not my students or library customers) stress me out 🤣

I have a great love of cute and absurd. I collect house plan books and dungarees (but don't expect you to provide either of those!) I've never met a bug or dino anything that I didn't love.

Awkward waiting in a course where I know no one and everyone seems to be in pairs 🤣

It'll be bike pants and my trusty tramping boots for most of this week. So am seizing the opportunity for dino dungarees today.

Got close to a full night's sleep so I've done many many things this morning.

The young thrushes are learning how to bash snails on the concrete. They're not as co ordinated as the adults.
