OK, so I wrote an essay then went outside to do gentle gardening (because I'm injured). I started off as intended but accidentally grabbed a saw and started taking down tree branches. Sadly this did not magically improve my injury.

Late this afternoon there was a startled quacking and then the dogs rushed to the pond fence. I went to look. A random duck had crash landed in our pond. (It flew off when it saw me) We're suburban and there aren't ponds nearby, so this is our 1st duck visitor.

Just planted two types of spuds into what used to be our front lawn. The berry cuttings have almost all struck, so it'll be a fantastic garden in the next few years.

Nearly at the end of my first trimester back at uni. It's so great. Constant new things to learn, getting to be a student again, studying beside heaps of interesting (mostly young) people. Feck knows what my grades will be, but it's been a raging success.
