RHP Darien Smith and LHP Charlie McDaniel were named Pitchers of the Month of April for the Eastern League and NorthWest League respectively. Smith went 4-0 with a 1.08 ERA over 25.0 innings. McDaniel had an equally microscopic ERA of 1.10 over 17.1 IP -- he's since lowered that to 0.87.

Scott Bandura just hit a 2-0 slider into oblivion. Including Spring Breakout, I’ve seen him play about 12 total innings this spring and he’s crushed two HR, hit a 113 mph double off the top of CF wall, and ripped a triple off 96 mph fb. Bandy Breakout coming.
