Back in the 70s, director Cirio Santiago was making a lot of action flicks in the Philippines. A lot of them featured African American actors because they were available and they could get the work there. The Muthers is one of those movies and has an awesome title to boot.

Kung Fu Brother is kind of a special flick. For one, it looks like it was made in the 90s, but it's actually a 2016 movie. Second, Ron Hall, is a guy who makes a lot of b-movies over in SE Asia. Third, it could really be the star of your friends' bad movie night.

Cold steel on the outside... ALL woman on the inside! That's the tagline for 1974's Policewomen, a movie that doesn't exactly feature multiple police women for the entire movie, but had to be called that to avoid confusion with a popular TV show happening at the same time.

A blaxploitation kung fu flick that also features a subterranean monster roaming the New York City underground?!? Hell yeah, sign me up for that, brother! Here's the review for 1976's Devil's Express. Oh yeah, the lead star's name is Warhawk Tanzania. It just keeps getting better!

1980's The Octagon was one of the pre-Cannon Films Chuck Norris movies that got played a ton on cable back in the early 80s and helped make Norris a star so that Cannon would go after him for the movies he would really be known best for in the later part of the decade.

Probably best known for the work put into the gore effects by the great Tom Savini, The Prowler does have that striking visage of the killer dressed in WWII styled fatigues reliving a decades-old murder of a couple.

B-Movie Enema's Black Horror Halloween continues with the 1976 spirit possession flick from Arthur Marks, starring Glynn Turman and Louis Gossett Jr. - J.D.'s Revenge!

1981's The Burning is one of the very best of the early 80s camp slasher flicks. It's not so much reliant on Friday the 13th but got release thanks to that movie. It stands all on its own with some really great scenes of terror and some good performances. Read the review at wp.me/p9XNnZ-6lj
