Something I'm loving a lot about @aseprite.org is that if a feature doesn't exist I can implement it via script / extension. f/e, a GraphicsGale-style loupe which has features like only displaying the current layer. May release it if there's interest. #pixelart #indiegames

Wow, found this old prototype of Charge Chambers from the first game. This is part of the room where you run towards a massive laser emitter, ducking in and out of the crawl space at the bottom of the screen as it fires at you. #pixelart #indiegames

Subtle thing, but I slightly adjusted the shading of the bricks to imply a circular shape. Not happy with the look of this level (Labyrinth Laboratory) though, it'll be next on the agenda after Charge Chambers. #pixelart #indiegames

In the original game these elevators were positioned over pools of explosive plasma and would fall into it. Other more reinforced platforms conversely explode out of the plasma. #pixelart #indiegames
