2025, has been a pretty good year for building stuff, I didn't finish as much as I did in 2024 a lot of what I completed this year was a lot more labour intensive so things took some extra time. I also started a lot of projects that I intend to finish in the coming year.

Completed the Gyan! I'm very pleased with that purple paint, in hindisght I think I would have preferred a darker grey instead of the black I used, but altogether I'm pretty pleased with the end result. @theceruleanproject.bsky.social #gunpla

Back to work on the Gyan! Started work on the paint today, went for the more classic look for the shield at least. The unit overall will be Purple, which I'm looking forward to (I finally found some fun shades of purple paint). @theceruleanproject.bsky.social #gunpla

Very pleased with how this turned out, I think it is my favourite of the three I've built so far. very pleased with how the colours came out as well feels very identifiable as a Gelgoog Striker. @theceruleanproject.bsky.social #gunpla

I was very fortunate to have located a HGGQ Gyan which will be the 4th and final entry, I have a couple of ideas that I think will work well for it. But for now I'm just enjoying how absolutely enormous the lance this thing carries is. @theceruleanproject.bsky.social #gunpla

Feel pretty good about this one, seems pretty identifiable as a "Powered Gelgoog" The orange paint came out pretty well for once as well. @theceruleanproject.bsky.social #gunpla

It took a few iterations to get the backpack and collar components lined up to something I liked the look of and fit the overall shape of the kit. With a bit of orange paint it should look a bit like a Powered Gelgoog. @theceruleanproject.bsky.social #gunpla

So here is this year's second entry into @theceruleanproject.bsky.social with my secondary self imposed restriction of HGGQ kits, I've got a Gelgoog. Theming will be orange! I've already started 3D printing parts and making revisions for this one, it has me pretty excited to show. #gunpla

Pretty much done my first project this year for @theceruleanproject.bsky.social I've got paint on everything, the theme colour for this one was of course blue. Just needs a few touch ups and a round of flat coat. #gunpla I think I'm gonna go in order of the provided list, orange is next.

Back once more from the drawing board! tweaked things a lot and have added a few more parts to the mix. I've got forearm chain guns, leg boosters, and extended the shoulder joints to help make the torso look just a little bit wider. @theceruleanproject.bsky.social #gunpla

Test fitting a few 3D printed bits on the HGGQ Red Gundam, there's a few layered parts for each component as well but I wanted to test fit the base parts to see what needs to be redrawn as well. #gunpla

Finished snapping this guy together, super impressed with the build, if the opportunity presents itself I think I may have to grab another AC6 kit in the future. Its especially impressive if you have built any of the old Kotobukiya ones. #gunpla maybe

HGUC Sinanju, is a very impressive kit, I wish it had a few less stickers but the engineering that went into is super impressive. #gunpla

I made some new much bulkier shoulders for my HGUC Rick Dom II, pretty pleased with how they came out they just slide into place like the original shoulders. I'm a bit torn on the command antenna now, it might come off in the near future. #gunpla

Just finished snapping together the Bandai 1/32 scale Batmobile from The Batman. I'm really impressed with the kit, I'm no expert on automotive kits but this thing goes together in a very unique way that my Gunpla addled brain likes. Looking forward to getting this all painted up.

This is the RE/100 Gundam GP04G Gerbera, I snapped this together quite a while back. Honestly speaking I think this is one of the very best kit versions of the Gerbera, it was quite fun to put together and it doesn't skimp on details either. #gunpla

The chopping and 3D printing has begun! Anyway the HGUC Rick Dom II is a pretty basic older kit, so there are also some missing details, I've added a few bits. #gunpla

I started work on an HGUC Rick Dom II, by far the oldest kit of the bunch and it feels it too. There is an advantage to that though, the simplicity of it means the seam lines are far easier to remove. So this is the final kit in my plan for Zeon Hangar diorama. #gunpla

I started on an HGUC Zaku II High Mobility Type 2, I've just started working on seam line removal. The plan for this guy is to build a sort of Zeon Hangar diorama, so there will be a few more HGUC Zeon kits coming down the line in short order. #gunpla

Just started painting on this big guy, its going to be along time before I can finish, each limb is basically a kit unto itself. Took me a full 37 hours just to snap it together. #gunpla

Finally finished painting my HGCE Windam, it's been in progress for so long that I forgot where I was going more than once. Just needs a flat coat and some decent photos.

Pretty pleased with how these two came out, Thorn in particular was pretty interesting, it has a pretty unique look and structure even after inverting the proportions. I have a few other Witch from Mercury kits I would like to paint up in the near future too.

Then finally the stuff that isn't Gundam, my Hasegawa 1/72 Armored Phoenix Valkyrie, a very tiny Bandai Super Star Destroyer and then my first foray into 3D printing a helmet, a 1/1 scale Shore Trooper helmet, I'll be taking a run at a different one in the very near future

On to the MGs! there are just the two both GM Snipers, I did a pretty basic matching paint scheme for both. They're nothing too crazy but I'm enjoying how they came out. #gunpla

Round two of my completed kits for this last year still on the HGs, and now into the Witch from Mercury stuff. The Thorn and Ur are due for some proper photos very soon. Pretty please with how the Thorn looks in particular after inverting the proportions. #gunpla

So we're fast approaching a new year, so I think I'm due to post up all of the kits I finished this year, I think I'll start with the HGs. There is an Ez8 that I haven't gotten around to posting yet, but I think I need to retake the photos, it looks a lot more yellow than it is.

Gotta remember to share my completed builds here too, an HGUC Ground Gundam and Blue Destiny Unit-1, done up in a matching and purely theoretical European spec colour scheme. #gunpla

I haven't gotten around to taking some better quality photos of the Lfrith Ur and Thorn yet but I'm pretty please with how they came together all considered. I basically inverted the proportions on the Thorn and then moved some of the spart bits to the Ur. #gunpla

First WIP for new better twitter. I've got something I want to work on for the Cerulean Project, it'll be interesting to see if anyone can guess where I'm going as I build this one. Timeline for this one will be pretty tight, but I'll try to keep this updated as I go.
