In my contract, my wonderful and intrepid publisher stipulated a braille version of my graphic novel. I don't fully understand it. I would like to learn more about how it works. Can someone help me?

I made this book, Djuna, because it's what I wanted to read when I was struggling with coming out. It's packed full of LGBT history and lesbian bad behavior. Yes, I read the Well of Loneliness as a teen. It had its moments, but this is better. Nightwood is the best.

The first US edition of Nightwood has a surprisingly cheerful font.

They do have a sexy logo. I'm so happy to see Djuna in her home town where she got her start in journalism. I ride vicariously on her coat tails.

Djuna Barnes was good friends with James Joyce. He encouraged her to be as experimental as possible. They seriously respected each other. In fact she was the only one ever allowed to call him Jim.
