What's your memories of the Kixx budget label? 🤔 Established in 1988, Kixx was the budget label of US Gold in the UK - originally re-releasing 8-bit games for the pocket friendly price of £2.99. 🕹️

Amiga CD32 Format - Issue One - do you have a copy to scan? From the makers of Amiga Format, only two issues were released both with cover mounted CDs (ISOs available online). An actual PDF version of the magazine is not available on the internet - can you help?

Shadow Dancer (1991, US Gold) on the Amstrad CPC. New York never looked so... blocky! 😂 But don't let that put you off, this is a lovely conversion of a tough arcade game. 🕹️

Scooby Doo & Scrappy Doo (1991, Hi-Tec) Amstrad CPC version Budget game released originally at £3.99, this is definitely a hidden gem! 💎 Perhaps a little too difficult with just 3 lives, but cheat with infinite lives and it's such a blast to play through! 🕹️

Terminator 2 (1991, Ocean) Amstrad CPC 7 levels depicting events from the fantastic film. Sadly 3 of those levels are these dreadful fighting sections. Poor across all formats - shame too as most Ocean film licences were excellent. 🕹️

Terminator 2: The Arcade Game (1992, Arena) on the Sega Master System. Fairly faithful conversion on the 8-bit SMS, slightly easier too making progress more fun. Forgive the poor screenshot, it was taken on my CRT monitor! Megadrive + Menacer = best version still. 🕹️

Double Dragon (1989, Melbourne House) - Commodore Amiga There's not a lot of love for this arcade conversion, but despite the poor graphics and lack of music it actually plays well - both fluid and responsive. It is far too easy though! 🕹️

Mutant Monty (1984, Artic) on the Amstrad CPC Did you ever get this far (see picture)? Not without cheating you didn't! 😂 A fun game completely ruined by the stupid high difficulty level. 🕹️

Enduro Racer (1987, Activision) on the Atari ST. 🕹️ The only 16-bit port of this popular

arcade game and it's... OK. Great music, but I'd still rather be playing the Spectrum version - just plays better. Anyone else sample the ST version?

Super Trux (1988, Elite) ZX Spectrum Great high speed truck racing - not many of it's kind around on the 8-bit systems. Based on gameplay alone, the Speccy is probably the best version. 🕹️
