I actually don’t mind that this is a Switch 1 cart plus Switch 2 update - massively prefer that over Game Key Cards if that would have been the alternative for these small size games.

I cancelled Game Pass two years ago and haven’t missed it - I just ended up focusing on games I wanted to play, rather than a library of games that mostly would not get played.

Unfortunately it really is the case that AI isn’t as controversial in Japan. I know actual Japanese artists who use it for non-art related things and don’t really see any hypocrisy. They would be fuming if someone outright copied their work, but that doesn’t register if it’s obfuscated as ‘training’

My PC right now runs CachyOS, with a debloated W11 just for new games. I have to intentionally go to BIOS to access the W11 partition and nothing is installed in W11 other than gaming-critical programs. This means I’m in CachyOS any time I’m not playing new games.

I don’t get this. This article says an Argos ad leak prices the Xbox Ally non-X at £499. Great. Except Argos themselves still sell the Legion Go S for £349, and the Z2 Go in the Legion Go S is better than the Z2A in the Ally.

This hasn’t been on my radar at all, but as someone who never played the original I’m very tempted to give this a go. Sounds ideal for handheld play.

I never got around to playing this because I need handheld support to make these long games viable. Maybe I’ll give it a go now.
