Football truly starts today with the first matches of The West Riding Girls Under 15 Division 3. It’s also the first time I’ve worn jeans and long socks since April.

Just had a letter delivered from Lakeview, Oregon to our house as we have a matching house number, county and country of the intended recipient. It’s for someone in Huddersfield 🤦‍♂️

Sat in an Italian cafe in Bangor as it’s raining. The normal chef is off and the replacement can’t do any of the pasta dishes including carbonara.

Got back to our cottage and a sparrow had got into the bathroom. Released it by the apple trees.

Had a very pleasant afternoon at Aberdaron beach followed by cod and chips at Sblash (they had run out of lobster and crab ☹️).

Went to Abersoch beach today. Wish they had Wing Foils when I was in my teens. The speed and simplicity looked great fun. Found some Polly’s in the local Spar which made up for it.

Still find it weird kids in Leicestershire go back to school in August. Chisits.

I like organising things on holiday as I get to decide on things to do. Plus I’ve done all the cooking. Would it kill anyone else in my family to suggest one thing?
