...I'm realizing something. Did... people really have pop quizzes in schools? Like really? I don't think my schools ever did them. Ever. Grade school, high school, college... Maybe once in my whole life I can't remember? We seriously didn't do them. Is that weird?

Sorry I've been so quiet lately here. I actually ended up getting very very sick. I've missed several weeks of work, and my one attempt at returning resulted in me being sent to the ER and hospitalized for a few days. It's been a slow recovery. But I'm getting better!

In Gepara, the celebration of New Years is compounded with a 4 day celebration of the “twin” princes’ birthdays: Dec 31 & Jan 3. However, Prince Dyric was only adopted Jan 3. I like watching different versions of A Christmas Carol (one of my favorite stories) every year. And in many versions I often find that Bob Cratchit is a good look alike for Ricaru. If anyone reads Clipped Wings and tries to picture Ricaru, just try to picture Bob Cratchit if he were ginger.

Gosh I am nervous for when I start sharing the writing of Don’t Forget to Make a Wish. It is such an intensive historical fiction, even if it does have magic in it… There is sooo much that goes into it and I know I’ll miss stuff or even upset folks with the changes I intentionally make!

It’s March 15th!!! Which for me marks the day that these two met!
