Brutal quarter from Target. Really disappointing. Better store traffic (yay) and terrible conversion into sales. We’re getting in to “new management needed” territory. $TGT

Walmart says inflation has been flat for the last 4qtrs with deflation in grocery and general merchandise. Very strong quarter. Shares up a bit pre-market, over 65% higher YTD. Best performance in 25yrs. Bodes well for other retailers reporting this week and next. Not to mention Christmas. $WMT

Target is going to kick the shit out of earnings next week. I'm not sure if that kind of thing matters here but there it is.
