It’s now June 5 in my time zone, which means that a year ago today, the Nintendo Switch 2 officially released to the public. I can’t believe it’s been that long already.

I've never seen any of the Ice Age movies before (because I don't know if any of them are good outside of the first and maybe second ones), but somehow I already know this is gonna be worse than Buck Wild if they recruited that film's director for the franchise's first theatrical outing in a decade.

Scratch that, here's the new plan: Friday, 7/17 at 10 PM EDT in IMAX.

The review embargo for "Masters of the Universe" just lifted. I ask this as someone who's never really been into He-Man and has not been interested by the trailers for this movie. There's no way it's that good to warrant a 74% Rotten Tomatoes critic score, right? I don't know if I'm dreaming or not.

For the record, I've not seen a single episode of the actual "Mandalorian" series. I read somewhere that viewing the actual series wasn't required for this, so thank god I didn't have to do any catching up before watching this. I probably wouldn't have even had the time to do that to begin with.

This poster alone has no reason to go so unbelievably hard. I've never played any of the Resident Evil games (though I own a lot of them), but I hope this is the first truly good movie this series gets, since I hear all the other ones were terrible. Zach Cregger, do not let us down with this.

I mean, what else is there to say about this? It's been nearly four years since this came out, but it's still just as good as I remember it being. I still think it's better than the original movie. I'm not too confident in the inevitable third movie however. Either way, this is still a blast. 9/10

Not gonna lie, I sorta wish I had seen this at least a few years earlier, but it’s only appropriate that I finally got around to checking this out on the literal eve of its 25th anniversary. It’s no surprise that this movie was what ended up winning the first Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

Mark Ruffalo was literally the very last person I was expecting to play the main protagonist in "Gatto." Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this the first time he's appearing in a Pixar movie? Now I'm really curious to see how this guy sounds as a cat of all things... 🤔

Feeling a little bored tonight, so I might as well just put on something I've never seen before. Now that I have the 4K SteelBook of this, it's finally time for me to check out another one of my mother's personal favorite movies.

Is there anything about this that hasn't been said yet? This is one of the great American cinema classics and probably the best/most iconic adaptation of the Oz books. If you haven't seen this yet, I'd highly recommend checking it out whenever you can. This keeps the 9/10 I gave it originally.

Sunday, 8/9 and Monday, 8/10. Both at 7 PM EDT. I hear the latter movie is regarded as absolute dogshit, but since it's currently only one of two Ghibli movies that has a "rotten" critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, I'm curious to see if it's actually as terrible as everyone says it is.

Today at 7:10 PM EDT. This will now be the oldest movie I've ever seen on a theater screen.

I've since rebooked by "Obsession" tickets for the next day at 10:10 PM EDT.

Please for the love of god let this be a good movie given what else Brad Bird has directed. I'm trying to keep my expectations in check, but it's really hard when you consider Bird has previously directed "The Iron Giant," "The Incredibles," and "Ratatouille."

The recent trailer and poster for this movie are sorta making me lose almost all the interest I had in it (which was very minimal to begin with once the previous trailer came out). I think the franchise fatigue towards these movies that developed after watching DM4 is really starting to get to me.

Am I the only one who's losing hope in the modern entertainment industry these days? With the looming threat of AI, constant acquisitions and consolidation everywhere, and several other things I'm probably forgetting about, it's sorta making me wonder if I should still pursue a filmmaking career.
