It's only appropriate that I give this a watch considering the fact I'm seeing its sequel tonight. I hear this movie's really good, and I remember seeing advertisements for this leading up to its release, but for some reason I just wasn't interested in it. Now I finally have an excuse to watch it.

Quick reminder. If you’re someone who likes to record on your smartphone while in the movie theater, you do not deserve to be in any theater at all period. People who do this are an absolute disgrace. It sickens me.

As much as I hate IMAX for that AI film festival they did a while back, this is an opportunity I'm not willing to throw away.

I really don't think I need to explain how well this movie's held up, but considering this was a movie I used to watch all the time as a kid, I'd say this is still as amazing as I remember it being. Give this a watch if you haven't already. I promise, this will be well worth your time. 9/10

It’s been a while since I last received something in my mailbox before its intended release date.

I'll never forgive Microsoft for cancelling Contraband. Literally as soon as I heard Steely Dan's "Do It Again" at the start of its reveal trailer, I audibly gasped. Steely Dan's the first band I think I ever recall listening to and I loved that song so much when I was very young.

Is Capcom TRYING to bankrupt my wallet on purpose? I literally just pre-ordered the Resident Evil Generation Pack yesterday. 💀💀💀

It's far past 1985, but that doesn't mean this movie's now considered bad compared to most modern movies. In fact, I'd say this still remains timeless. Who doesn't love the original songs by Huey Lewis and the News or basically the entire main cast? The original 8/10 I gave this still remains.

Now it's time to see what all the rage is with this movie. All I know is, I'm sure the music's gonna be fucking great since I already like quite a bit of Daft Punk's music.

Clearly something must've changed since the last time I watched this movie, because while I understand just how influential this movie would end up being, I don't think its story is very coherent. There are many aspects that save this movie from being absolute dog water though. 7/10

Time to get this started. Is this still the revolutionary cult classic people claim this movie is? Only one way to find out.

Good chance I'm gonna have myself a little movie mara-TRON before seeing Ares tonight. It's been a hot minute since I last watched the original movie and believe it or not, I still have yet to check out Legacy, so I may as well seize the opportunity before my Ares showing starts at 9:20.
