Aloha from Hawaii! Our Defense Attaché Office joined more than 800 military personnel and civilians in Hawaii to take on the Norwegian Foot March. Established in 1915, the march ensures that Norwegian soldiers could move rapidly over long distances in full combat gear.

Our Embassy was glad to take part in the U.S. premiere of "Facing War" – a documentary capturing a critical year of Jens Stoltenberg’s term as NATO Secretary General. The screening, part of @dcdoxfest.bsky.social, opened with remarks from director Tommy Gulliksen and Ambassador Anniken Huitfeldt.

Horrified and saddened by what appears to be a politically motivated assassination of State Rep. Hortman and her husband and the attack on State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife today. Our thoughts are with their loved ones.
