Researching the business models of indie publishers recently and the co-ownership model with devs does seem like the best way forward. Can't think of a better foundation for great art than everyone having the same financial stake, trusting in areas of expertise, then letting the creatives run wild

Crushing it NZ, love to see it

Death Stranding is like BOTW, Phantom Pain, Factorio and Desert Bus planned an elaborate heist for an insanely high end movie script just to add random excerpts from Wikipedia, but the act itself was earnest so you can't help but respect the hell out of it

Finally cracking into Death Stranding and I love that the main loop is just the uneventful parts of road trips you mostly tune out while they're happening and forget entirely once they're done. Like someone decided to gamify everything between the microsleeps and it's somehow weirdly compelling

One of my favourite times in my life was in my early 20s, driving around the US and Canada exploring small towns and sleeping in the back of my car in Walmart carparks. Vibes for this one took me right back there so I'm chuffed I get to to work on it. Full reveal tomorrow!
