#trigunstargazespoilers Also adding to this is that the reason the GHG wanted Vash was bc Knives might’ve been trapped in VASH’s higher plane, not in the usual plant higher plane. Knives was in a dark blue mindscape before waking up while every other higher plane was light blue and bright SOOO…

i have been rotating the whole season in my head over what could've been so i'm gonna make a thread out of my delulus and add on when i feel like it #sdart delulu #1: vash likes to wait from time to time near the lake to see if knives will come back, even if he can't feel him anymore

delulu #2: it's still hard to catch vash only bcs he'd be gone exploring the greenery without notice and it'd take a few days before you can reach him delulu #3: they call it the last run but knives' corpse is never truly found so vash still searches for him sometimes (yes he still can't feel him)

I've been turning some stuff over in my mind. This isn't criticism, but what I think is actually a pretty thought-provoking (perhaps unanswerable) question about choice and fate through the Nai's narrative.

And it's sort of just dropped. Back at the end of s1, Knives told Vash that humanity would never accept them because they could never understand and will only view the independents as a threat. So...Why do This. Why prove Knives right like that and then drop it like oh dont worry abt it.

#stargazespoilers I'm gonna try not to harp on it for too long, but I really do have a bee in my bonnet about taking away nai's ability to connect with the plants. when you build up your antagonist as a person who has been othered by both sides of who he is, with no opportunity to experience empathy

Removing knives’ ability to speak with and understand the plants and handing that to Meryl was such a curveball it left me speechless. A part of Trimax that made it so great was that the plants HAD motivation. Some DID want to be free, some DID love humanity. The threat of a plant uprising was real.
