Yesterday, Dini and I went to #Wutzrock, a free 3-day punk rock open air in the south of Hamburg. The festival is inclusive, open, colorful, eco-conscious, anti-fascist, DIY, and really, really chilled. If nothing comes in between, we'll surely be back there next year! 🤘🌈

Last weekend at HOA, I asked Flo of Dying Victims Productions about the new LP by #PaganAltar. He told me I could either buy the regular edition from him or the totally over-the-top deluxe box set. Without thinking twice, I went for the latter – after all, we're talking about Pagan Altar here! 🙌

Sometimes I don't understand myself. Last November, one of my all-time fave bands – mighty #TheGatesOfSlumber – released one of the best doom metal records of the decade after 10+ years of silence … and it still took me almost 4 months to buy a copy! Why? Anyway, now I got it! 🖤

Digitally, I've listened to the debut MLP of Deadly Magic dozens of times. But up until recently, I've not played the album on #vinyl. With my copy arriving, this will change now. After all, the band's superb take on the technical US-styled power #metal sound literally screams for the #turntable!

Yesterday & the day before, my wife Dini & I had a total blast at Hell over Hammaburg #festival, which is easily one of our most beloved #metal events of the year! There's always so many cool people there & so many great bands, too – spanning across all genres of #heavy music!🤘
