It shouldn't be surprising to me, but having classical music (even just well-known popular stuff) over the PA at the subway station really deters me from listening to my own music. Because the oldies are really the best.

An ID request for a fancy humble caterpillar made me realize that ID images shouldn't be realistic, but rather highlight exaggerated features of the subject. Because people are terrible at realism, and need sign posts to help them. I never realized that form of drawing was its own art.

I really hate that this recent 'celebrity' death is causing me to write posts. I think it's because so many don't grasp the clarity of the situation.

The difference between the right and left in America has always been that rules are good and just, or rules are for suckers. In this case, the left believe violence is bad, and the right hold that the left are fools for believing in that.

The American right (aka the new fascist America) isn't being genuine right now. Like every message out of them, the message matters more than the truth. It's all an act. They knew this was coming. They want this day to happen. And to happen again.

Yay! Not an early adopter but I'm here all the same. Granted, mostly all the cool people over at ye Olde hellsite had migrated over, so it was easy to come here.
