Just watched Monsieur Verdoux (1949). A film written by, directed by, and starring Charlie Chaplin as a scoundrel who seduces and murders rich widows for their fortunes. His effortless charm and smarmy machinations made for a very enjoyable film, I'm glad I finally got around to watching it.
