I am not an idiot btw. I know it's about the oil. But I am just saying, hypothetically

I won't make an argument that Venezuela or especially Iran are run by some wonderful people. Especially the latter is run by anti-emotion expression sociopaths. But if we want to help these countries, we need to leave the self-determination to them. Obviously.

Poland was occupied and ruled by the Soviet puppet regime for 45 years. Horrible, grimy, backwards period. I wish it didn't happen at all or it wasn't so long. But we did regain the freedom completely on our own terms and we are now one of the fastest growing countries in the whole continent.

Aside from the horrors of the war, evident for empathetic folks, let's speak in the language that these invaders SHOULD understand - these invasions are ineffective and always fail. I'm flabbergasted that anyone would look at the fiasco of Iraq and be like "yay, this WORKED! let's do this again!"
