Someone assassinated one of the President's advisors in broad daylight and the combo of FBI and local authorities have caught and released two guys with no leads on the actual subject. It should be a major scandal for multiple levels of law enforcement.

I think something that the Mamdani campaign has done very well is to have a clear-eyed view of the problems they face and an understanding of the resources to do it. For example, biggest problem they have now is that it's a long gap before election day. Using staff for a scavenger hunt solves it.
