My first group of knights for Greathelm! I've always loved the stoic look of the Knights Hospitaller so they were an easy choice!

I whipped up a dedicated board for Greathelm! I'm looking forward to getting some games on it soon!

Some quick and dirty gruesome death markers for Greathelm. Finally a good use for the crappy graphic printed "prepainted" bases I got as a free sample.

Picked up some WGA historicals to make a couple Greathelm warbands out of. This first group will be Knights Hospitaller when they finally get paint.

I have stumbled upon a little micro-skirmish game named Greathelm and I am *hooked*! I've already ordered some knights and am planning to build a battlefield in a picture frame! The system is easy to learn but seems hard to master. It's in playtest right now but I can't wait for the full rules.

Ok so, I'm working up colors for my Helsmiths and I'm a red period baby, so I think I may try to recreate my Iron Golem color scheme (but with pale skin) paired with a simmering magma style base.

My very first Warhammer Fantasy army was Chaos Dwarfs. They had such a unique look and feel and I was hooked. I eventually moved on to better supported armies but they never left my heart. Now nearly 30 years later I have new Chorfs on the table again and I could not be happier.

I just unearthed some absolutely ancient chaos space marines I painted like 20 years ago. They were supposed to be like living statues.

The Beast Of Broghlin Wood. A big ol' wereboar type creature I got from a Boris Woloszyn Kickstarter. Not sure what I'm gonna use him for yet.

I always mix up too much greenstuff so I tried my hand at sculpting a basic head for the first time. I'm impatient so it was all done soft. Next attempt would be to get a basic head shape and build features over that once it's dried. If I had some silicone tools that would make a difference too.

Picked up Star Wars Battle Of Hoth today and set it up just to get a good look at it. I'm a fan of the Command & Colors system so I'm looking forward to this

Marie-Claude and Esmee are all painted up! MC was the reason I hopped into Relic Knights in the first place so I'm super stoked to have these finished!

Really happy to get my hands on the 2nd edition Marie-Claude Relic Knights mini. This thing was only produced in a very short window before Ninja Division went bankrupt and so far the likeness rights for @mcbourbonnais.com haven't been renewed so it may never get sold again.

Finally an actual relic knight for Relic Knights. This is One-Shot. She is a sniper, so naturally her relic has a huge gun. They provided two different pilot minis and my plan is to keep them swappable. I had to resculpt the chin on the sitting version so hopefully it won't look too bad once painted

A new pile of Relic Knights has arrived!

I decided I wanted some quick and easy terrain for Relic Knights, so I splurged on some Acid House Cyberpunk cardboard terrain, specifically the 50% Volume set. It all comes folded, glued and ready to use. It consists of a series of nested boxes so it is sturdy. This stuff is great.

I have been *struggling* with the Relic Knights mini I've been painting but I want to stick to my oath of finishing at least one thing every month. So I went for an easy win with some spectral skellingtons.

Got stuck babysitting dogs all alone so I went for a solo kitchen table game of Spearhead. FEC vs Lumineth. By the first half of round 4 the Lumineth has been totally wiped out and FEC won 19-12.

Got to test my Soulblights Spearhead on the new Sand & Bone set today. Really like how they play and the new pack is really fun. Went up against Seraphon and only lost by one point

My first Relic Knights figures are done! Radiant questing knight Bang Bang and her cypher Mr. Milky are ready for action!

I could not have been more happy to see Relic Knights back! Had to pick up the 2 player set and I'm looking forward to both Black Diamond and Cerci coming up. Can't wait to get back into it with the reborn 2nd edition!

Hobby has really taken a back seat the last few weeks. Hoping to get back on track soon. I just have so many projects looming, that it's getting hard to choose what to work on!

Ivya Volga, The Outcast. This model is one of my favorite Soublight models. I love her wolf legs. She has no place in any of my lists but she will be a great display piece.

I picked up some neoprene objective markers for my Soulblights. Not a huge fan of splashing a thematic board with disconnected images just to save having to measure 3 inches every turn but my local scene prefers them so I figured $35 was a small price to pay not to have to argue.

What do you do when you don't want to paint a horde of zombies! It's ghost time!

Ok, ok, I think I've managed to talk myself back into Soulblight Gravelords but this is more the Acceptance stage of grief than actual enthusiasm.

Well goodbye, friends, and most likely goodbye SBG army. Losing these units wrecks my army and I'm not buying new giant monsters that apparently suck in the new book. I suppose there's always FEC, but for how long? #WarhammerCommunity
