A smol hint of something I’ve had in the works for a bit.

Going to be moving some assets I had in Unity to Godot or Unreal… maybe Unreal with Paper2D 🤔

And getting back into game development, rebooting my Metroidvania. Meet Arthur a descendent of Fenrir and the main playable character. Keeping the style but redoing the sprites and animation.

Should get back on the anthro Pokémon habit again…. <.<

Well, work has fucked up my body, sleep and mental health. Been overworked to a point where my body is breaking down. :T great when head office doesn’t get that if put too much work on someone and then they start struggling maybe this issue is with the extra work your putting on top.

Officially off the pain meds, all clear from the surgeon and physio. Back to catching up on comms with steady hands, pain meds made it hard to keep steady or focus. Plus 48 stitches along the left ankle and tendon.

I noodle a smol Leon from “I think I like you”, fun wholesome read. Made processing sleep studies go by quickly.

Guilty pleasure at work atm between sleep study prep, reading “I think I like you” webcomic. Very rare to get a quality series like that. Very tempting to noodle out some fan sketches. It’s good to read something wholesome and respects your time (especially when configuring biometric data.)

Did a colour test, Skull needs an updated colour scheme.

Called to work even though I have the flu and I’m highly infectious. So while I’m sitting in the clinic before opening I’m working on the sticker line work. Skull is up first between sneezing fits.

Sick in bed with the flu, been playing this on the Steam Deck. A awesome little RPG, well written characters and the goal being to break out of prison.

I’m quite surprised by the response, something tells me I’ll have to get more made.

Making some stickers for conventions and my Etsy store. Skull and the pack will be the first series of VHS labels. So far just WIPS but will have them finalised by Monday :)

So update, art business is all setup. New BlueSky account will up tonight and website and Etsy store will be up next week. Studio’86 is ready after a solid year of prep work. Plus say hello to the face of my business - IMP :)

If you have Steam you can download a playable demo, you can play as Toxi, Junkyard, Major Disaster and Yvonne. There are Easter Eggs to Sonic Mania, TMNT Shredder’s Revenge and few other games in the backgrounds.

I’m happy the writing and jokes are on point and on the same level I expect from Toxic Crusaders.

I’m all for these 2D Retro Revivals, TMNT, Power Rangers, Toxic Crusaders & Terminator 2. I’m all AAA fatigued out and seeing small games like these has me more hyped

Very tempted to get the Action Figure revival of the Toxic Crusaders.

Seeing Toxic Crusaders getting a retro game revival has me excited. They have tweaked the design of my fav character Junkyard.
