Great afternoon in the Róisín Dubh in Galway for the launch of the new €1million Grassroots Music Venues Scheme. A brilliant initiative by our Department to bring live music to regional and rural centres.

Great to meet with Ireland Manager Heimir Hallgrímsson as we discussed with FAI their strategy.

Last week I had very positive engagement with the French Government on protecting children online. We will review their legislation which is still going through Parliament, and their engagement with the EU Commission. I will then bring forward proposals to Government on our next step here.

Bonnie’s story here in the @irishexaminer.bsky.social sounds so familiar to me. As international epilepsy day approaches this is a really good read to help raise awareness.
