In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, the Mini-Mario ability prevents music from changing properly in some cases. This can lead to a variety of unfitting music scenarios such as "Mournful Surfing", whereby Mario will surf joyfully at a sunny beach while tragic music is playing.

And here's an example of Thomas using this very technique for the tilesets in Quartet.

Towards the end of development of my new #JRPG, Geo Mythica, we added some Ninja-Gaiden-style cutscenes to give a little more spice to certain story moments. I thought they came out pretty well! #pixelart
