For anyone curious, this is the in-store treatment Metal Cardbot gets in South Korea at a Toys R' Us. Sure, it doesn't help that the US doesn't have toy stores anymore outside of Walmart and Target's toy aisles and a few specialty stores at the Mall. But we are really getting the bootleg experience.

im ordering a metal breath/brace toy cuz i want one and to see if the US weapon cards work with it. i'd imagine since theyre not selling the brace in the US that they might just remove any NFC chips to save on minimal costs. but worth a try. theyve been compatible between regions i believe

I wanna line them all up for a nicer photo and give a little more detail on the wen sheng model kits sometime. They feel a little more obscure compared to the sembo blind boxes, but they look so dang good for $5 per kit. I want them to make more characters so bad!! 😭💞

Also i think i forgot to post the last couple wen sheng model kit pics here. I had to do a lot of painting on wild guardy, but the gold looks so nice over the yellow. Meanwhile Dexter ended up being my favorite. He’s way bigger and i barely had to paint anything!

Another model kit complete! I really love these kits, i’m hoping wen sheng makes more for mcb. I needed to paint in a few more details than on the shadow X kit, but im glad it turned out alright considering im still new to these! If you want cartoon accurate S1 figs, these r honestly the way to go.
