Cheap and easy pseudo-palak chana:
Chop big onion and into oil. Add garam masala and garlic. Then add one jar of ready to eat chick peas and one jar of crushed tomatoes and one packet of frozen spinach. Let it boil for a bit. Serve on rice. Yummy, tastes vaguely like the real dish, fast, healthy.
