I was one of only two people in the theater for ‘The History of Sound’, and the other person was literally sobbing for the last 15 minutes of the film. It’s a good movie, though it’s slow-paced. It’s as much about the silent spaces between sounds as it is about the sounds people make.

‘The Golden Girls’ debuted 40 years ago today!

‘The Long Walk’ is one of the very best Stephen King film adaptations. Amazing how they slowly build the tension over the duration of what really is just a long walk. David Jonsson impresses and better be in contention for awards at end of the year.

I wanted to like ‘Honey Don’t!’ more than I did. It felt like a promising premise was being setup, but ultimately it didn’t deliver on the payoff. Still some fun performances, though.

‘The Baltimorons’ is the kind of small budget romantic comedy we don’t often get anymore. Equal parts charm, heart, and hijinks, it’s easily the feel good movie of the season. Absolutely loved it! Special shoutout to Jordan Seigel for that score! Instantly nostalgic!

‘Splitsville’ has one of the funniest fight scenes I’ve seen in years. Overall, the movie is very chaotic in the best way. Fun to watch in a theater to hear the audience reactions!
