Meet mama humpback whale NA-7130 (at least 21yo!). We spotted her near St. John's on June 16, 2026. She’s known to be the mother of HW-MN0104432 (likely on the right of pictures 1&2). 🐋 Bonus: Check out the tiny puffin under the right side of her tail in pic 2 for scale! 🪶

A while ago, some Tennessee Warbler came to visit my yard. For the past several years, they stopped short at reaching my area, but were present a couple blocks away. For some reason, this year they decided to explore a bit further in the neighborhood - which I gladly welcome 🥰 #birds

Not a common sighting walking on the trials by the river. I know Ospreys are here, but they are usually flying up high. What a surprise to see one sitting still. I guess they need to take a rest, too 🤣 #birds 🪶
