One time I was working a flight to London, and had no intentions of seeing him because of schedule conflicts. I dropped my debit card somewhere in the airport between a restaurant and the aircraft, this man told me he didn’t want me unnecessarily using my credit card and just brought me cash.

The guy I went on that date in London with continues to be a dear friend, 10 years later. He was one that helped me see how much I settled for as far as dating in the states. Because of of my time dating him I changed that way I date myself which made my standard with others shift.
