Our farmers are struggling, it’s no secret. Why? Because of tariffs and the disastrous trade war with China. It’s time to send a farmer to Congress, one who will protect North Country residents.

Agriculture is the number one industry in Upstate NY and the North Country.  We had a great get together with farmers like myself at Woody Hill Farm in Salem, NY.  We discussed issues like labor shortages, healthcare, inflation, immigration and solar power to name a few.

Great news! The Senate has unanimously passed the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act, that reinstates whole and 2% milk into school lunches! This is great for kids and farmers throughout the North Country!!

Basketball season is here in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA)! Coaching youth and High School basketball has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life — it taught me leadership, patience, and the power of investing in our kids.

Speaking with friends and neighbors about this amazing district is one of the greatest pleasures I have had in my campaign. Together we can finally send one of our own to congress to put the north country first.

Today we pause to recognize the men and women who answered the call to serve. Their strength, their quiet bravery, and their unwavering commitment built the foundation of the freedoms we rely on each day.

Today, the 250th anniversary of the United States Marine Corps, we honor all who have served and sacrificed for our nation. I’m especially thinking of my uncle, William Raymond Gendebien, a Marine pilot whose F-4B Phantom II was shot down over Quang Nam in 1965.

Started the day off with some local TV interviews and finished it off with a wonderful house visit with some great friends and neighbors! Another amazing day on the trail.

Today’s a great day! We just brought our final load of soybeans to Bourdeau Brothers. The North Country has some of the best farmers in the world! Let’s support them and elect a dairy farmer to Congress!

I’m here in my soybean field. Because of the tariff war this year, American farmers lost their soybean business to Argentina. And what do we do to help US farmers? We send Argentina $20 billion dollars. Why are we saving Argentina’s economy?

The government shutdown is impacting air traffic. Farmers are left behind. Museums are closing. We need real leadership in D.C. right now that will protect healthcare and end this shutdown.

I am grateful to see the return of the remaining hostages in Hamas custody. Today is a day of celebration. Their families will finally get some closure as their loved ones return. Now, let’s come together to work toward a lasting piece, one where the suffering of innocent Palestinians in Gaza ends.

We are 11 days into a government shutdown and right now farmers are struggling. Meanwhile, Washington is threatening yet another trade war with China. Enough with the chaos. Let’s elect leaders who will actually work for New York.

With the government shutdown entering its third day, the North Country continues to suffer. Extreme tariffs harm our farm workers, the shutdown has furloughed our federal employees, and soon, many benefits may lapse. It’s time to end the shutdown, end the tariffs, and deliver for New Yorkers.

St. Lawrence County Farm Bureau hosted another great annual 'Day At The Farm' this past weekend. I enjoyed being a part of it. Lots of great questions from community members on the wagon ride through the dairy farm.

Last night we attended the SUNY Fulton-Montgomery town hall! Thank you to everyone who attended. It’s an honor to meet my neighbors, business owners, veterans, farmers, parents, and teachers, and answer their thoughtful questions.

It was exciting to see so many great candidates at this year’s annual Rome Democratic Committee Fundraiser.  I am excited for Rome’s elections this fall with so much talent and heart! Thank you Angela for all your hard work!

Families in New York could soon see their health care costs rise because of Elise Stefanik's vote today. Her vote is a vote against extending Affordable Care Act premium subsidies. Without them, premiums will climb and many New Yorkers will priced out of coverage. Shameful.

Congresswoman Stefanik is willing to shutdown the government to protect tax breaks for billionaires. That’s it, that’s the tweet.

The federal government is barreling toward a shutdown, and Elise Stefanik is willing to give tax breaks to the billionaires in the process. The North Country deserves better. Unlike Congresswoman Stefanik, I’ll never put personal donors or ambitions ahead of our people.

It was a great afternoon with the Beekmantown democratic committee at Doc’s on the Water. Thank you for all of your support for my campaign and the many others running for local office in Clinton County. It’s an inspiration to spend time with so many public servants and engaged community members.

I had a wonderful afternoon at the senior picnic in Gloversville yesterday - seeing some familiar faces, and meeting some new ones too. We gathered to celebrate the lives of those that we lost almost 25 years ago on 9/11, and to remember their sacrifice.
