Got some 150+ year old sour dough starter from a coworker's wife and finally got a chance to make something with it. So here's my dozen bagels going through the second proofing! After this, it'll be an overnight chill before finishing.

Made some strawberry cheesecake bars for a coworkers bday last night. It's barely 8:30am and half are gone already

Got the other half of the garden cleaned up a fair bit. Lots of dead plants removed and one of the super over grown rose bushes pruned down pretty far. Strawberry bed still needs some cleaning. Now I just have to decide what veggies I want to start with for growing and prep the beds for them!

Not official lego but another plastic block building set I got back in November because semi-truck. All the small ones are done now. VanGough Starry Night lego build is next on the list.

Next lego set from christmas is built. Simple, cute build that lets you swap between the 3 backgrounds. The little knobs are turnable as well!

Finally broke into one of the lego sets I got around Christmas. It's very adorable and warms my heart a little bit.

Did an impromptu 2 day trip to ECCC this year and nab some great stuff. Picked up even more amazing art, because how can I not. As well as got my first Critical Role signature and photo from Marshia Ray herself. Overall, amazing con and will definitely plan for next year. My hips are head tho 😂

Suddenly going to ECCC this weekend. Time to scan all profiles of the artists I follow to see who is gonna be there so I can throw money at them.

I am spoiled. Partner got me a steamer/espresso machine so I can do london fogs and other drinks 😊

Made a german chocolate cake for a friend's birthday. He's a Jeep guy, so we got him a jeep car topper. Being as it's Jurassic Park, I figured parking it on the iconic dinosaur turd in the original movie was the only true way to put it on there.

Old man Akira got his 3rd round of prolotherapy yesterday. He always comes back a bit wobbly and sleepy. But he handles it well and the Vets + Techs love him. His CCL will never be 100% again but this process has been much easier on him than surgery would have been.

Another xmas goodie bags success. I wasn't sure how well the dark chocolate molasses would do, but they seem to be a big hit! Great combination with coffee. I got some really pretty cracking with them to!

Finished all my cookies for my yearly xmas goodie bags last night. Made No-bake, dark chocolate molasses, and snickerdoodle this year. Roughly around 180 in total. Got a little impatient with the No-bake so they look a little sloppy but still taste good!

I did my first ever wedding cake. It's nothing crazy or special but I'm happy with how it came out. The couple and bridal shower loved it, so I couldn't ask for more. Flavors are red velvet and taro layers.

It's been a month now since I had to put little girl Jemma to rest due to suddenly finding untreatable cancer on her spleen and in her lungs. It's been rough and I'm thankful to have a good support system around me. I sure am missing her goofy butt being around. Even if she was a challenge.
