For a deeper analysis of San Diego State and Mountain West Hoops.
Feeling really good about the guard spots with Torresnai in the mix. The bigs should be solid once the other European comes in. The wings are a little weak though. Scoric is a solid start, but right now it looks like Anderson will be playing up a lot.

I’ve had my write up Torresani done for a few days. Just need to cut the clips and add them should have it done by the end of the day.

If the two that are rumored are true, definitely not this week, and possibly not until the last week of May or later.

There are supposedly 2 players who have agreed in principle to play for SDSU next season, but since they are still under contract professionally they can’t officially commit yet.

This is why I think the Aztecs should figure out how to play smaller and prioritize shooting. Doesn’t seem like that’s happening though.

Gonna start looking at Luka Scoric. Just on paper, thinking the target was Boris Tisma, then having to settle for Scoric, is disappointing. But I'm going to try my best to not let that cloud my judgement too much.

I had Justin Menard as a player I wanted for SDSU. Him going to Colorado State just ocnfirms to me that he would've been a good pickup. Oh well.

It’s going to take me about a day to get full games of BU rather than just highlights that everyone is using, and another couple of days to go over the film. But I’ll get a report out on Gladden this week hopefully.

Honestly, I kind of agree with Lobo fans. I get not wanting to play at elevation, but then you can’t say you’re not ducking anyone.

Zion Sensley went to Loyola Marymount. Rip. If that’s where he ended up it would be hard to believe the Aztecs couldn’t have gotten him. Oh well. Always knew it would be this way.

Love SDSU adding a neutral against BYU. The fact that it's in Palm Springs is a bonus. With all the extra non-con games the Aztecs have the opportunity to schedule, they really need to load up on quality opponents.

Finished my write up in Jeremiah Cherry, complete with game clips.
loading . . .
What does Jeremiah “Bear” Cherry bring to SDSU
Jeremiah Cherry announced his committment to SDSU on April 11th. Listed at 6'11 and anywhere between 250-280 lbs, he is the type of physical, bruising big man that are all the rage this offseason. Everyone is lookng for players in the mold of Jeremiah Cherry. The big man comes from Sacramento State where he averaged 15.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks.

Aztecs need four more players for a 9-man rotation. Another big man (could be Jerald Colonel, we'll see.) A backup PG (ideally they have 3 ball handlers. Latrell might be able to be one of those.) Ideally 2 more wing/shooting types.
