I was playing with little Lou at 1am, trying to tire him out so he’d sleep. I opened the new abacus we got from IKEA and just start doing maths on it, much to the wonder of Lou. He doesn’t even understand what maths is; he just liked the colourful beads and noises. Man I love abacuses.

I hate that Røde makes such good products. Been looking at replacing my audio interface with something a bit nicer (with dual USB out for my Dual PC setup) and the RØDECaster Duo is just straight up the best I could ever want. $630 ON SALE… ooof. I’m not big pants streamer enough to justify that.

picoCAD was a fun but very limited modelling program. It seems like the second one is shaping up like a massive improvement in scope and feature set. Very keen to try it out and do silly things with it.

Today in Ratboi’s Continued Capers in Carbtown: homemade chicken pasta bake. It was very good.

Friends, Mega and I went and watched Iron Lung last night and oh boy do I have things to talk about (but won’t because spoilers). There’s so much to unpack in that movie; I spent all my shift at work thinking about it over and over and piecing things together. What a great film.

Recipe: Coat chicken in spices then bake (I used smoked praprika, cumin and pepper), leaving to rest for a while before shredding. Coat fries in chicken salt then air fry until crispy. Cover fries with BBQ sauce, then add shredded chicken on top, then a ton of cheese. Air fry until cheese is crispy.
