Topology is the horrifying, incomprehensible creature rearing it's head towards you as you attempt to understand its very nature and being. Once you've gazed at the tris, quads, and ngons long enough, you begin to understand it's madness enough to realize: You gotta make that model again.

Today was a really good day for progress. I cleaned up my base model, got it to around 11,000 polys. Put together some straps for a flashy "anime style" rig. (designs still pending) and redid the character's top. I learned a lot this time around! #Blender3D #3DModeling

[🧵 ] I've been thinking about this project quite a bit. One of the things that's come up is: What is this all for? I was initially inspired by this idea to create something that is a middle finger to AI art. I catalogued all of my steps so that I could one day share "How to be better" than it.

Been a while! My model is going well. I'm currently in the rigging process. One of the things I want to do is focus on utilizing all of Blender for this project. I want to try and make something as "professional" as possible. I also started to write extensive notes on my journey.

I recently completed a major step in a base model I've been working on. The model is a part of some research I'm doing for myself. I've been asking myself: "How can I be more effective in my art as a one man team?" I've been wanting to make more ambitious projects lately. Results shown soon.
