I’m finally done with the definite collection of Telltale’s The Walking Dead. I started it back in late August, and have been gradually playing each season between other games. That’s a wrap!

Had a fantastic afternoon at the Royal Albert Hall yesterday.

It’s a rainy, miserable day… perfect to stay in and start my Silent Hill 2 NG+ run!

Never owned an Xbox, grew up on PlayStation, so tell me and I’m genuinely curious: why is Halo so good, why has the series endured, and should I play it when it comes to PS5 next year?

All the marketing for Resident Evil Village led us to believe Lady Dimitrescu had a far bigger role in that game, and I think that was disappointing because the real main villain was pretty forgettable.

Today, the 25th anniversary of PlayStation 2 (in North America), I’ll say this… I’ll never not be amazed by the size difference between original launch PS2 and its later slim models. Pure engineering wizardry! 😯

I don’t believe you have to own all major gaming platforms to be any more of a “Gamer” than someone who owns just one. If anything I feel implying you *need* multiple is kinda elitist. Some people may just feel one is enough for them. 🤷‍♂️

I keep seeing posts about this coming to PlayStation, and I don’t understand why it’s a big deal…? 🤔

Was recently asked why I have a PS1 in my setup and not an OG PS3 (for PS1/2/3 games). It’s about sentimentality: original PlayStation is where my interest in video games began, and I’ve lots of fond memories connected to it. Call it an artefact of personal history.

Did you know PlayStation 2 disc cases had clips inside that held a gummy dinosaur candy. This provided a little snack while reading the manual on the journey home from the game store.

Siren’s Rest DLC done. I definitely recommend it if you’re gonna play (and enjoyed) Still Wakes The Deep. It’s a shift in tone from the base game, I don’t wanna give anything away so I’ll just say it’s unsettling in a different way.

Really looking forward to Silent Hill 2 dropping onto PlayStation Plus tomorrow, couldn’t come at a better time for me: been on my wish list for ages, another spooky game for the season, and it’s aligned perfectly to be Platinum 760. Lovely. 👍

A few months ago some more free DLC levels were added to Astro Bot, so yesterday I jumped back into the Vicious Void, and got the trophies up to 100% again!

Right now I’m playing a game on my PS5 while another installs in the background. Back on PlayStation 3 you could only do one or the other, and installations often took a while too. We really do take these conveniences for granted.

I asked a Pokemon fan how the new game is but they just stood there moving their mouth while no sound came out. 🤔

Yesterday I saw a post with an absolutely stinking take about something I personally really enjoy. You wanna know what I did? Nothing. Kept on scrolling, and carried on about my day unaffected. Highly recommend! 😃

Still Wakes The Deep is a really refreshing horror game: a unique setting, weird cosmic horror and grotesque The Thing-like body horror combined, with good pacing, and excellent voice acting. In fact, I enjoyed it so much I’ve just bought the DLC because I want more! 👏

Sly Cooper games have aged really well for 20+ year-old PlayStation 2 titles, even back then Sucker Punch did quality work. Gameplay’s fun, lots of variety and environments, great boss fights, and an endearing cast of characters.

Two years ago today I started my final game on PlayStation 4, felt it was a good place to bookend the generation, and then move on to PS5.

Just finished Still Wakes the Deep. Loved the setting, great visuals, excellent voice acting, and was a good length/pace. Plenty of gross body horror going on here, no combat but mostly sneaking about avoiding enemies and running away, real tense stuff! 😬

Well, there it is! Nice. 👌

Funny how those who complain most about video game leaks/spoilers are often the same who won’t stop posting screenshots on launch day with no regard for anyone else.🤔
