Went to the beach, it was short lived as it’s a shallow beach and the tide came in quickly. Did have a swim though. It is warm, almost Med temps. Now I’m on full seagull alert with my chips in hand.

I’ve just laid down on the couch. Probably fall asleep and miss the 2nd half now.

I’ve been living in this flat for a couple of years now and this is the first pint I’ve had in it. Cheers all and C’mon England. (Glass was stolen from a fair in the village I lived in previously)

Young lads around 10yo play footy on the patch of grass outside my flat. 2 Spanish lads same age have joined them. One has skills well above his age. Puts the English lads to shame. He also wears a Sunday Independent sponsored Plymouth Argyle shirt which was between 1987 - 1992. ✊

Just tried one of the chillies off the plant I’ve been growing to see how hot it is. 🤯

I was tempted to wander down to the beach but I think I’d last about 10 minutes. It’s a bit dangerous for a ginge. Apparently the sea is very warm now, so I may pop down for a paddle later, if the sun calms the fuck down a bit.

Had weird dreams last night. I cycled to the paper shop in the area I grew up in. Was being pushed around in the queue by 4 drunk men. Had a fight, they got kicked out of the shop, I bought what I needed and went outside to see my Raleigh Arena bike which I had as a teen had been stolen. 🤷‍♂️

Hayfever dictated that I didn’t sleep tonight. On the plus side, I’ve just watched Belgium beat the USA. Just desserts have just been served.

My steering wheel felt like it had just come out of the oven. I don’t need driving gloves, just oven mitts.

It’s flying ant day down here. Tried to get a picture as the sky is full of them, but they don’t show up unfortunately.

Hels and I watched a bit of Gig rowing in Plymouth Sound today. T’was very energetic of them on a very warm day.

Totnes police have been busy. They arrested another drug dealer today with £17.5k’s worth of coke and heroin in his car. Disappointingly, he was driving a blue BMW. I’m beginning to think that Totnes is a hotbed for drugs.

Just to reinforce the stereotype, Totnes police arrested two men on the same day for dealing drugs. Both were driving black Audis. Here’s the cars on the back of a transporter having been seized.

I had to do some duck herding to get out of the work car park this evening.

I’ve had a lovely weekend. Helen and I had a couple of picnics in parks, there’s shade there and none at the beach, cooked some nice evening meals and almost had a fight with 4 teens when I challenged them about shouting the N word at someone. Anyway, it’s bedtime, hoping to sleep in this inferno.
