I’m working in Santa’s fucking Grotto. You can see just how pleased I am with this.

My colleagues are decorating the office with Xmas stuff. My desk is an oasis of normality. I won’t have any in my area at all. They are singing carols too just to make it worse. I’ve got my headphones on and listening to this to drown them out.

I’ve been putting it off because of all the effort involved, but I finally got around to it today. My Christmas Tree is up!

Totnes Christmas Market this evening with Hels. She bought a book, I bought us mulled wine. There were Morris Dancers, a choir, people on stilts and a multitude of stalls.

Had a walk around Stover Country Park today. There was wildlife galore, mainly ducks and other water birds, but also squirrels and a buzzard.

I delivered a minibus to a not for profit Community Transport company in Wales today. We surprised the patrons by turning up at a Tesco where they were doing their shopping. It was so uplifting to see their faces when they saw the new bus. It meant a lot to them.

Last day of our mini break and we went up on the moors to find a Bronze Age stone circle and the ruins of a cottage. Put Helen in some stocks too. She did escape though.

We went to Polzeath and Harlyn Bay today. Two Tone rocks, Helen going what seemed like miles out to sea, surfers and rocks with holes.

I hade a tough choice to make yesterday. I could either pay the bill that the management company gave me for the lift repair, or take advantage of 2 nights for the price of one at a hotel in Port Isaac this weekend. £29 each a night with breakfast was too good to turn down.
