The most shocking thing so far about @build_canada are the multiple senior civil servants (current & retired) who have reached out to say things like:

“…the federal public service is overstaffed, [it is] providing a lower level of service…and…Canadians are losing trust…”

you can tell people a flood is coming, but they don’t start filling sandbags until the storm is in sight.
