I'm also excited for the Lakers to get Marcus Smart. But he's not a healthy year-long starter for them. Better to treat him like OKC treats Caruso. Caruso played 54 games with 3 starts and around 1000 minutes total. Then he ramped up in the playoffs, playing every game at 24+ minutes/game.

Final impressions of the California Classic: Bronny looks like he’s made significant progress. Kel’el Ware and Pelle Larsson are too good for summer league. Lakers have a lot of near-NBA players to choose from on this squad. Competition for their last two way contract will be crazy.
