Walt Disney World lost one of their best cast members ever a few days ago. Judi Perry Daley lost her courageous battle with cancer. I'm sure Walt Disney had his arms wide open to welcome her to Heaven.

One of my personal favorites was "Remember Me" from "Coco" with classical guitar, orchestra and Lang Lang.

This makes me cry. How can he do this?

So proud of my 96-year-young friend Ruth and her 80 Balfour friends who joined the worldwide NO KINGS protest.

Lincoln Center is opening a new production of "Ragtime" on Broadway. Themes of immigration and racial justice are woven into the pursuit of the American dream. Our nation needs this musical so urgently now. My brother Cary and his husband Jim are actually seeing a preview this weekend.

Eugene Levy has a wonderful series called "The Reluctant Traveler." He visits London and receives a rare invitation from the Prince of Wales to tour Windsor Castle. The interview with Prince William that follows is warm, intelligent and fascinating. It's season 3, episode 4 on Apple+.

I'm thrilled to be watching Magnolia Network's "The Last Wright" on HBO MAX. Two women are building the RiverRock House, the last residence Frank Lloyd Wright finished plans for when he died. The first episode was wonderful.

One of my favorite Colorado Avalanche players from my 1996 Stanley Cup Champions is Peter Forsberg. Peter was back in Denver this weekend for an alumni game at DU. Welcome home, Peter!

The opening season of the Lone Tree Arts Center, I had the honor of publicizing the Lone Tree run of the Arvada Center's beautiful and moving production of "Ragtime." The most wonderful surprise was getting to know one of the most dedicated actors I've ever known. Wayne Kennedy passed today.

My friend and neighbor Hillary decided to take her small harp out to our courtyard this morning. You can find her on YouTube as Hillary the Harpist.

Six weeks from shoulder replacement surgery: Not required to wear sling anymore.

HBO MAX and "The Gilded Age" invited us to the wedding of the century. WOW, just WOW!

My day started with an early morning IMAX showing of the new "Superman." I loved this movie and it's an actual real summer blockbuster. David Corenswet is my favorite Superman EVER because of his humanity, niceness, compassion and nerdy humor (a Juilliard graduate, his theatre background shines).

Denver Center actor and NTC graduate John Behlmann has joined the pre-Broadway Nashville cast of "DOLLY: A True Original Musical" as Carl Dean, Dolly Parton’s late beloved husband. John just finished the Broadway run of "SMASH."

It's really disappointing when a new movie in a series doesn't even come close to the other films that preceded it. You're setting the bar really low when your favorite thing in the movie is Manuel Garcia-Rulfo's hot mustache. He plays "The Lincoln Lawyer" on TV. Darn!

Denver Center actor Caitlin O'Connell appeared in this week's episode of "The Gilded Age." She played the speaker at Cynthia Nixon's temperance meeting. She joins David Furr and John Behlmann as Denver Center alumni on the HBO Max series.

50 years since the release of the movie that kept a nation out of the water.

There may not be a person more responsible for the outstanding national reputation of the Denver Center Theatre Company's Colorado New Play Summit than Bruce Sevy. His passing will leave a huge hole in my heart and the hearts of anyone involved in new plays while Bruce was at the Denver Center.

My rehab view from my friend's deck. Doing really well since last Monday's total shoulder replacement. Was Tylenol only for pain by Thursday morning. Left hand only is fun. You're a fully functioning adult before surgery and a two-year-old learning to use a fork after surgery.

How can you not have a great recovery from shoulder replacement surgery when this is your physical therapist.

Surgery went perfectly. Dr. Adam Seidl, shoulder surgeon at the UCHealth/Steadman Hawkins Clinic, operated at Highlands Ranch Hospital. Everyone took great care of me. I'm staying with a family for the first couple of weeks. Thanks for all the good wishes. I was blown away by your kindness.

A big night for theatre!

I just sat riveted to the TV for 90 minutes and watched CNN's ground-breaking live broadcast of Broadway's "Good Night and Good Luck." I have never been so proud to have spent much of my professional publicity career in legitimate theatre. The entire experience was breathtaking.

The sovereign and free nation of Canada wins game one of the Stanley Cup Finals. GO OILERS!

Cadets will shake the hand of a president who abides by their honor code. "We will not lie, steal or cheat, not tolerate among us anyone who does."

Never forget.
