When all these tech companies who were given tax breaks and other incentives to set up in a country because they brought jobs, have replaced all the workers with AI. That country should then tax them to the hilt to pay for the unemployment they've caused.

When using self-checkouts, the cheapest item of food should be given to you free of charge as you've just done the job of a checkout assistant. And if the camera on it can detect what you've bought, why can't it see you're a pensioner and don’t need a verification check to buy restricted goods.

It's true the media has a hand to play in this, but politicians must equally share the responsibility for not keeping to the pledges they made in order to get people's votes. In plain terms, people believe they lied just to get into power and then forgot about them.

A united Ireland is inevitable and more people in the Unionist community are recognising their best future is within a United Ireland at peace with itself and not in a fractured UK at war with itself.

Politicians of all colours chasing votes always say the country is broken and promise change, and then deliver more of the same. For decades there's been little difference between the main parties. This is the real reason for the rise of Reform. People will vote for them to punish the other parties.

I doubt he's interested in changing anything much. He says Labour need to change, but apart from allowing councils to have more say on how they spend money they get from central government, I can't see any radical plans whatsoever being touted by him.
