I have zero issue with the Minister of Education sending financial investigators into the school boards. Spending at the board level should be heavily scrutinized. But if you’re not willing to amalgamate the public and Catholic boards, I can’t take this financial scrutiny seriously.

Tariffs tax everyone at the same rate, instead of the marginal rates of income tax, so poor and middle class people will be way more affected by them than rich people. In case any of you were wondering why Trump is doing this.

Pierre’s still obsessed with the Carbon Tax even after it’s been removed. It’s proof he has no substance and only knows how to campaign (and govern) through division and lies.

Poillievre is obsessed with what Carney might do or might not do as PM because it’s the only reality he can imagine.

You want proof that Fox is a propaganda machine? Watch Trudeau’s speech and then watch their “coverage” of it. It’s so glaringly obvious.

Trump’s defence of Putin is “there are good people on both sides” all over again.

Summary of the election: PCs and NDP pretty much keep the same amount of seats. Liberals get official party status without their leader. Voter turnout was marginally better. Well, that was pointless.

How are Ontario voters this stupid? I just don’t get it.

I do truly believe much of the hate for Trudeau came from a combination of rage farming and dislike for Trudeau’s inclusive policies. He accomplished quite a bit and I do believe that history will be kind to him.

Ford SHOULD be campaigning on all the good things he’s done for the province. He’s had 7 years. But he can’t. Because that list is pretty much empty. If you believe his promises, you’re gullible and stupid. That’s it. It’s as simple as that.

Remember that voting early isn’t just about you. Voting early means one less person in line on voting day. It means one less reason to give an apathetic voter a chance to walk away. It’s one less obstacle to voting day being successful. Vote early.

Just voted in the advanced polls and it was super easy and quick. My partner and I were in and out in under 5 minutes. Go! Get your vote in to remove this corrupt government and bring in someone who’s on our side.

The only reason our health care and education systems haven’t completely fallen apart is because of the health care and education workers who work so hard to keep them going. But even those amazing workers will have a breaking point.

I can’t fathom anyone who’s interacted with our health care system in any way over the last few years actually voting for Doug Ford. He’s had 7 years to fix it and it only got worse. Don’t listen to Doug’s made up stats. We know.

The biggest threat to our province this election is voter apathy. Vote. Tell others to vote. Offer to drive people who can’t get there. Send people links to the platforms. Encourage young people to vote. We can do this. We can get rid of Doug.

Strategic voting never works in my opinion. People try to game the system and the best and only way to do defeat ignorance and hate is to address voter apathy. Education is almost always the solution.

It infuriates me that people keep talking about the great job that @maritstilesndp.bsky.social did but then talk about how she has no chance to win. She’s the obvious choice. I don’t understand why we’re even disputing this.

I love that @mikeschreiner.bsky.social understands his role in all of this. He’s keeping all the other leaders accountable for their platforms & promises and he’s doing a damn good job.

Hallway healthcare started with the Liberals. Doug Ford just broke it even further, and now he’s claiming he’ll fix what he broke. Let’s maybe try a different approach.

Watching the Cons try to spin that Carney is still “Carbon Tax Carney” is hilarious. They’ve spent so much time and effort on this strategy and it’s all they know how to talk about. A single issue party. GREAT choice to run the country.

I think it’s important to note that all Nazis are Fascists but not all Fascists are Nazis. I think it’s an important distinction because if you’re watching for Trump putting Jews into camps, you’ll miss him putting undocumented immigrants into Guantanamo.

The more you look at Carney, the more you realize he’s the perfect candidate. He’s been praised by Conservatives but was never one himself. He’s fiscally conservative but socially liberal. And he’s never been an elected politician so he’s got “real world” experience.

The gymnastics the Cons are doing right now to tie Carney to anyone inside the Trudeau government is dizzying. They so desperately need him to be tied to Trudeau to fit their narrative.

It’s really simple: just go a little deeper than the 3 word slogans. It doesn’t take much. Just past the 3 words is all the info you’ll need to see that PP is bad news for Canada.

Watching PP so desperately trying to tie Carney to Trudeau is hilarious. He’s based his whole personality off of anti-Trudeau rhetoric that he’s panicking when he has to pivot to someone who isn’t even elected yet.

Remember how it started. Remember how they got here, so that when it starts for us, we already know how it ends and we choose a different path.

Doug Ford’s plan for the LCBO is a good one. Stop selling and promoting US goods. Remember, they voted him in, knowing he would do this. Americans chose this.

You’re telling me Elon Musk is so clueless that he would do that salute twice and not know what he was doing? Come on. My 13 year old knows what that means. EVERYONE knows what that means.

For those of you who haven’t yet seen/heard the inauguration speech: If you were hoping that Trump’s speech today might tone down the rhetoric or give us some re-assurance that the world isn’t completely screwed, you’re going to be very disappointed.
