Summary of the election: PCs and NDP pretty much keep the same amount of seats. Liberals get official party status without their leader. Voter turnout was marginally better. Well, that was pointless.

How are Ontario voters this stupid? I just don’t get it.

I do truly believe much of the hate for Trudeau came from a combination of rage farming and dislike for Trudeau’s inclusive policies. He accomplished quite a bit and I do believe that history will be kind to him.

Ford SHOULD be campaigning on all the good things he’s done for the province. He’s had 7 years. But he can’t. Because that list is pretty much empty. If you believe his promises, you’re gullible and stupid. That’s it. It’s as simple as that.

Remember that voting early isn’t just about you. Voting early means one less person in line on voting day. It means one less reason to give an apathetic voter a chance to walk away. It’s one less obstacle to voting day being successful. Vote early.

Just voted in the advanced polls and it was super easy and quick. My partner and I were in and out in under 5 minutes. Go! Get your vote in to remove this corrupt government and bring in someone who’s on our side.

The only reason our health care and education systems haven’t completely fallen apart is because of the health care and education workers who work so hard to keep them going. But even those amazing workers will have a breaking point.

I can’t fathom anyone who’s interacted with our health care system in any way over the last few years actually voting for Doug Ford. He’s had 7 years to fix it and it only got worse. Don’t listen to Doug’s made up stats. We know.

The biggest threat to our province this election is voter apathy. Vote. Tell others to vote. Offer to drive people who can’t get there. Send people links to the platforms. Encourage young people to vote. We can do this. We can get rid of Doug.

Strategic voting never works in my opinion. People try to game the system and the best and only way to do defeat ignorance and hate is to address voter apathy. Education is almost always the solution.

It infuriates me that people keep talking about the great job that @maritstilesndp.bsky.social did but then talk about how she has no chance to win. She’s the obvious choice. I don’t understand why we’re even disputing this.

I love that @mikeschreiner.bsky.social understands his role in all of this. He’s keeping all the other leaders accountable for their platforms & promises and he’s doing a damn good job.

Hallway healthcare started with the Liberals. Doug Ford just broke it even further, and now he’s claiming he’ll fix what he broke. Let’s maybe try a different approach.
