I've been wondering if its a good idea to start a new account focused on 3d character art, in order to eventually open commissions. Or basically try to combine my indie game dev posts with freelance art. It's hard to know where to start tbh. Maybe posting a demo reel and pinning it?

I was thinking of ways to have melee combat that doesn't break the characters speed, and I believe I found something I liked. So you can basically just button mash and move wherever as you attack most things. #indiedev #gamedev #screenshotsaturday

Bouncy tightrope lol Works well with the cloth simulation i have on my character, and you can even have ranged attacks on it. Did some animation work as well for the walking on tightrope. #screenshotsaturday #3DPlatformer #gamedev #indiedev

Here's a new 2d facial rig I just made, that works with a dialogue system. This works with morph targets as well, so I can have both 2d and 3d faces that talk through the same system. #indiedev #gamedev #3DPlatformer

I experimented with cloth+bone simulation and applied it on my character. It's a small thing but details like that make add up to make the animation more cool basically. As long as it isn't overpowering ofc and the base animations are ok. #indiedev #gamedev #3DPlatformer

So, I was looking at a character I made and there was a suggestion to change the design. I wanted to convey the theme of electricity but realized I was confusing too many colors, so I'm currently incorporating more green instead of blue/brown. Open to more feedback as well #gamedev #indiedev
